Regina was born in Mexico with a deadly heart defect. The surgery needed to save her life was not available there, so her parents, Elizabeth and Eduardo, brought their newborn to Children’s Hospital Boston. The Ray Tye Medical Aid Foundation partnered with CHB to pay for the surgeries that would save her life.
