The Ray Tye Medical Aid Foundation was approached by the Nguyen family of Quincy, MA about their infant niece in Vietnam who would not survive without a liver transplant.  The medical and surgical care she needed was not available to her in Vietnam.  We were pleased to be able to join with the family on a journey to save baby Nghi.

It was a long road getting her here and there were moments of doubt. But with the help of the Nguyen family and many generous people, we were finally able to bring this precious little girl to Massachusetts General Hospital where she had successful transplant surgery in 2014.

Today, Nghi is the happy, thriving 3-year old we see pictured here with her aunts.  Please click here to read the inspiring story of Nghi’s hard-working relatives who contributed so much to her care.
